TL DR I don’t think you lose anything through upgrading but it’s annoying the cabs default to off.
I haven’t played a guitar through it yet, so I can’t comment on the updated sound quality. I can’t see any new settings option that suggests a global setting for this. To test a more metallic tone, we went for a tight, Mesa-style saturation via the Treadplate model. You can turn it on (but you have to enable “Unlock Signal path” in the settings!) but it doesn’t stick if you change preset again. BIAS Amp 2 is a solid improvement over its predecessor, with stronger, more responsive amp tones. One peculiarity (bug?) is that, from what I can see, ALL the amp presets have the cab turned off.

Access to the new tubes (2pre, 2power), cabs etc prompt for you to get the upgrade (£14.99). In terms of UI “update” it just looks like a re-skin for the main screen, the amp editing screens look exactly the same except the dials are harder to read, the mark on the knobs not so clear. I have to say, there doesn’t appear to be any difference functionally, other than one or two extra knobs in the EQ area and the option for a graphic vs parametric EQ.

I think the free update to BIAS 2 doesn’t get quite as much features as the paid-for version (presumably an IAP upgrade?) but looks like it’s a couple of tubes, cabs, mic, transformer options. I’m also a little concerned over the statement “BIAS Amp 1 owners qualify for special pricing. La compra te permite instalar el programa en dos ordenadores y funcionar de forma simultánea e independiente lo cual te permite tenerlo en casa y en el local por ejemplo sin el engorro de traslado de equipo y demás. I had a lot of issues with resource utilization in bias as well. La Standard en calidad precio es inmejorable. I found helix native to be much more usable than bias amp 2 or bias FX 2. Luego están las otras dos versiones más avanzadas de las que no puedo opinar de su relación calidad precio. Más enfocada a la guitarra pero al bajo no le va a faltar lo básico, incluso más, para poder disfrutar de los graves a tope.
La versión Standard trae todo lo necesario para una labor no sólo amateur de las que se trabajan en casa con el home studio, creo que la versión Standard es ya de por sí muy completa tanto para guitarra como para bajo. Creo que no hacen falta más comentarios pero voy a añadir algo más para completar mejor la valoración. Por poner un ejemplo, mi hermano, fiel usuario de Guitar Rig, dijo al probarlo que el BIAS AMP 2 le da mil vueltas.

Ich möchte diese Diskussion gar nicht erst anfangen.īis auf Kemper und AxeFX gibt es nichts, was einem Röhrenamp nahe kommt und auch da scheiden sich die Geister.
