highlighting the License that is in the Surrender window. nothing works when i double click on it - Complete or Activate. When i click on the Available Tab i can see a new Perpetual Bundle 10/11/12 but i do not get a notice that i have licenses to Surrender. i am using ILM ver 3.1.1.631 (latest if i check for app updates) Make sure you received the licence, not everybody receive it at the same time. Once the new bundle was downloaded, I dragged the new licence to my iLok on the left column and that was it. The ILM selected them without any intervention on my part. I clicked on the "available" tab up there, it then told me I had tu surrender some licences. Or else, as said, it would be dead and buried a long long time ago.īy the time it takes to write/whine here and to receive an answer worth its grain of salt, most problems are fixed by a large margin. No doubt that the iLok is a great licensing system serving many many people, vendors and studios out there. Gearslutz should be the last ever place to ask for anything remotely like support.
Ilok issues after pro tools 12.6 upgrade install#
Have you contacted iLok support? Have you tried to install the newest iLok Driver? Have you done anything else than to WHINE on Gearslutz? Computer/software maintenance is the key to running a proper DAW and/or a studio. Most iLok problems are user/computer related, NOT the iLok and iLok Manager/Drivers itself.
But computers and computer technology needs a calm approach to troubleshooting. It is of corse a pain in the a** if, and when it happen to stop working (to whom it might be). Or else the idea and solution would have been dead and buried a long time ago. Of all thousands upon thousands that are using the iLok, there are very very very very few incidents. its just endless bitching over and over thread after thread. sell the stuff that uses it and move on already. I use vienna on multiple slave machines mac and pc and it just works. its great if you lose your drive or have a corrupted OS. god you anti-iLok folks love to whine.sheesh.
